4 Door Htp.
440-4v Auto
The Imperial of luxury cars

In 1970, there were many buyers who wanted more car and paid for the
pleasure of an Imperial. Every Imperial Chrysler built had 15 miles
put on it before it ever got delivered. They inspected over two hundred items
on each Imperial before they even delivered a single one to the Dealer.

The 440 4V Engine was balanced to make sure no unwanted vibration
ever interrupted your Imperial Ride.

The Imperial name appeared very early in the Chrysler line up. For many years,
Chrysler Imperials were a distinct entity, with separate bodies and styling
from all other models Chrysler offered.

The new for 1969 "fuselage" shaped Imperial provided tremendous
comfort and superior highway manners. They looked big, and they
were! The hood and rear deck sheet metal seemed to extend forever.

This Imperial LeBaron four-door finished in a rich Burgundy with a black padded
vinyl top. The Burgundy interior offered a standard 50/50 divided bench seat,
featuring two individually adjustable armchairs, with the passenger side reclinable
up to 22 degrees. The seats also featured the optional six-way power driver seat,
tilt-a-scope steering wheel that tilted up out of the way for getting in and out,
Pillow head rest for the back seat passengers, signal seeking radio,
Chrysler "Airtemp" air conditioning with climate control, power windows and
power vent windows.

The 1970 Imperial LeBaron stretched to an amazing 230 inches, with a
127 inch wheelbase -- the rear overhang was enormous. The car was
79 inches wide. and weighed in at 4800 Lbs.
